Service Technician
Easton Suburban Water Authority – Easton, PA
Starting Salary: $21.00 - $22.00

Job Description:
Easton Suburban Water Authority located in Easton, PA is seeking a dedicated candidate for a Service Technician position at the Easton (Palmer Twp) facility. This is a full time, first shift position. Saturday work rotation and after hours on call as needed.
Responsibilities for this position include, replacing existing water meters, installing new meters, reading devices, and troubleshooting issues related to water service at a customer’s location. With frequent interaction with our customers, the successful candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, offering professionalism and courtesy at all times.
Minor plumbing, driving a company van daily, sampling water, occasional digging and turning water service on and off for customers are additional responsibilities. Our Service Technician’s also collect and submit meter data via a computer work tracking system using laptop, handheld or tablet, making familiarity with technology a must. We are seeking someone who is self-starting, organized, motivated and dependable.

- Ability to understand and follow instructions verbally and in writing
- Laptop, Tablet, Computer skills
- Ability to perform record keeping and prepare maintenance reports manually and with computer software such as Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to react quickly and appropriately to alarms and hazardous situations
- Excellent Customer Service Skills both in person and over the phone
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid PA driver’s license

Or, any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and ability.
